Connection, compassion, and community are the threads woven through my interests -- from working as a liaison across divisions at Scholastic, to teaching children's music classes at a Persian language school on Sundays, to hosting concerts in my apartment.​​

I am the proud of daughter of Iranian-American immigrants -- my mom is Iranian-American novelist Marjan Kamali and I am inspired by her artistry every day!

Songwriting is how I process my emotions, and singing is how I express them. I love nature walks, party planning, and the world of children's media (especially Bluey).
